The Police have now commenced investigations into what could have motivated a car and knife attack by an Ohio State University student that injured 11 people on Monday before the suspect was shot dead by a police officer.
The suspect, Abdul Razak Ali Artan, was shot and killed by a police officer with less than two years on the force after driving into a group of people and then jumping out of the vehicle and stabbing people with a butcher knife at the school's Columbus campus, said Monica Moll, director of public safety for Ohio State University.

Archaeologists who scanned the grave of William Shakespeare say they have made a head-scratching discovery. His skull appears to be missing.
Researchers used ground-penetrating radar to explore the playwright's tomb. The tomb is in Stratford-upon-Avon's Holy Trinity Church. Staffordshire University archaeologist Kevin Colls led the study. He said they found "an odd disturbance at the head end." They also found evidence of repairs some time after the original burial. Read more after the cut.

So my wife has been complaining for sometime about how she's not very impressed with our bloggers these days. A large chunk of the 'news' they blog about is negative. Down right gory. Today it's about the rape of an underage girl, tomorrow it's about the beheading of a young man with a promising future. Police shooting innocent civilians now and soldiers brutalising cadets the next moment. Kilode? She asked me. It's an overload of negative news. Is that really all that's going on?

If you're into your horoscopes, star signs and zodiac stuff then listen up because as it turns out, almost nobody was born under the sign they think they are, as the astrological calendar has failed to be updated as our position in relation to the stars has changed.
1. The slump in oil prices: Oil prices have fallen so low since the record highs witnessed in the past few years. It’s almost as if the prices are on a mission to break new records in 2016 only this time in the opposite direction. Nigeria, being a largely mono-crop economy dependent on proceeds it makes from crude oil sales has had its economy hit hard by this slump in prices. The problem is going to affect everything. I’m sure you have heard your parents lament the problem. The problem doesn’t seem to be going away quick and so families will have to re-strategize in a bid to stay afloat in what are no doubt hard times while we await the measures to be taken by our government to diversify our economy.
