Justin
Bieber is not having the best of times at the moment. His downward spiral has
got many thinking where the sweet little singer they came to love went. Say what
you will about Bieber’s music and career, but according to a story on King5.com, it’s helping orphans in Ghana (even if indirectly) by driving the
students of Tenino High School in Tenino, Washington, USA absolutely nuts! Watch the video after the cut.
Administrators
at the school on Monday, March 10, 2014 opted to play Bieber’s highly repetitive
2010 smash hit single ‘Baby’ over the school’s public address system until they
raise at least $500 for a sister school in Ghana. According to the story,
Bieber is blared only after a class period ends and students are changing rooms
before the next class starts.
Fast Fact Bieber says the word ‘baby’ 54 times in the song’s 3
minutes and 44 seconds.
The
un-Belieb-able tactic has already been more than enough to get students to “donate,
donate, donate, oooooh!” Bieber hit the school’s speakers on Monday morning,
and by afternoon, the strategy had raised more than $330.
A student
asked to comment said, “My head is about to explode right now.”
A suburban
Chicago, USA school also played ’Baby’ on repeat for a 2011 fundraiser,
ultimately raising $1000.
That's like baby, baby, baby, whoa!
